Oko is a mobile camera application designed to provide users with real-time assistance in navigating their surroundings efficiently. One of its key features is the ability to identify pedestrian signals at intersections, aiding users in determining when it is safe to walk.
When approaching an intersection, Oko offers feedback through audio and haptic cues to inform users of the current pedestrian light status. This feature not only ensures safety but also helps individuals maintain their path while crossing.
With a focus on privacy, Oko emphasizes a privacy-by-design approach, ensuring that all camera data is processed locally on the device unless users opt to share information for application improvement.
